In episode thirteen of season two, Dante is abducted by two on-duty police officers for no justifiable reason at a local gas station while he is with his two sons. ![]() Dante, who desperately wants to solve the ongoing crime in his district, teams up with Robyn without the knowledge of his department to aid those victims that have lost faith in the police system. Marcus Dante teamed up with Robyn McCall (an ex-high ranking CIA agent) to solve a series of unjustified crimes throughout the metro area. While the death of Bishop was not much of a surprise, after the death of the acclaimed Mr. Related: The Equalizer 3 Is Denzel Washington's Next Film: 'I Get to Beat People Up Again'ĭuring last Sunday's episode, titled Pulse, Bishop died in a plane crash (by the end of the episode) while returning to New York after secretly working with the CIA, investigating a previous plane crash that was suspected to allegedly have been covered up by the department. Allegations against Noth first came up in a December 16, 2021, article in The Hollywood Reporter, where two women had accused the former Sex and The City actor of sexually assaulting them. His firing came after allegations of assault were made against the actor late last year. Bishop, an intricate part of the show, was a regular cast member and a great ally to McCall amid her pursuits to uncover justice for those who contacted her. The Golden Globe and SAG Award-nominated actor had previously portrayed Bishop, a former CIA director and mentor to Robyn McCall (Queen Latifah). Nearly a year after Chris Noth's firing from CBS, writers of The Equalizer have officially killed the character of William Bishop off the series for good.
